Thomas B. Moore, RPh Founder
Mr. Moore is a second generation pharmacist who graduated in 1956 from Albany College of Pharmacy in New York. He moved to North Carolina in 1959 where he worked for an independent pharmacy until 1970 when he became the co-owner of Rowan Drug in Spencer, NC. He became sole owner of Rowan Drug in 1978 and relocated to West Innes Street in Salisbury, NC in 1981 with a new name, The Medicine Shoppe.
Teresa Casmus, RPh Owner/Pharmacy Manager
Teresa Moore Casmus graduated from the School of Pharmacy at UNC-CH with a BS in pharmacy in 1989. She is a Registered Pharmacist. While at Carolina she was a member of the pharmacy honor’s fraternity, Rho-Chi. Teresa is a certified immunizer, and provides flu and zostavax vaccines. She has also received her certification in Medication Therapy Management. Most recently, Teresa completed a course of study on the Essential Elements of Prescription Hormone Compounding. Teresa is actively involved in her church at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and enjoys exercising with friends at the local YMCA.
Emily Boyd, PharmD
Pharmacist
Emily is a Salisbury native and has worked at The Medicine Shoppe since 1994. She began as a cashier in high school and worked as a technician through her college years. She graduated with a Doctorate of Pharmacy from UNC-Chapel Hill School of Pharmacy in 2004 and joined our team as a pharmacist. Emily is also a certified immunizer and provides flu and shingles immunizations.
Janet Hascall, RPh
Pharmacist
Janet graduated from Eshelman School of Pharmacy, Chapel Hill, NC in 1992. Janet works with us part-time, and is a certified immunizer. She is a friendly face that is always willing to try to help.

Pharmacy Technician
Noelle joined The Medicine Shoppe in 2000 and is a Certified Pharmacy Technician. She loves her pets and is always willing to pass along helpful tips in the care of our furry friends.
Julie Williams, CPhT
Compounding Technician
Julie has worked as a pharmacy technician since 2002 and in compounding since 2008. She is married to Anthony and has two daughters, Emily and Kylie. When she’s not working Julie enjoys camping with family and friends as well as reading.
